Lets start off with the story. The story starts off by garbing your attention the first two issues it had action and drama and an actual love interest which for Iron man is not a normal thing, and being as it is in the Ultimate universe the background story has been changed from the normal universe.
There is little to no action in this comic if you are looking for action and adventure I would steer clear of this story arc. If you are looking for just a background info, and just love to read for the sake of knowing things then this story arc is for you.
If you love drama this is the one to read. With a lot of his past being relieved, and where his dad got all the money to make his enterprise successful this tells it all. Hes relationship with his father and his first REAL love interest is interesting to follow. The writer seemed to focus on this most and not on the manderine which is yet to be seen in the Ultimate universe.
The art work is good but not the best I have seen. Overall I give Ultimate comics Iron Man a 2/5. It left me wanting more; And seeing as it was a mini series and not a ongoing title or a full story arc it leaves a lot of question unanswered.
